Microblading
There are many different terms used to describe this semi-permanent makeup technique. Generally Microblading is the most commonly used name, although it is also known as the manual hair-by-hair method, eyebrow embroidery, 3D eyebrows, 6D effect, etc. While the name might vary, all these refer to the same process, whereby a qualified technician implants pigment into the skin to improve the overall appearance of the eyebrows.
The results of Microblading are very natural, as the precision of the micro-fine needles used in the process are able to make thin strokes similar to real hairs, regardless of the amount of hairs already present.
People suffering from alopecia, or any other condition which causes hair loss, can greatly benefit from Microblading, as well as those who are simply not happy with their eyebrows and just want to improve their overall appearance.
The results usually last up to one year, depending on different environmental, technical, or personal factors influencing the procedure.
When searching for a Microblading specialist, I would recommend looking at before and after photos of the artist’s work. And, in my opinion, it is even more important that the technician can provide photos of the treatment a month after completion, when the eyebrow has recovered. Good colour retention is often an indication of the technician’s skill.
I am the first Microblading technician in Barcelona certified by Branko Babic (Phibrows), Ksenija Karabegovic, and Sandra Martis.
